History of St George’s, Stowlangtoft

All of St George’s was built in a single construction project during the late 14th Century and is classed as one of Suffolk’s Great Churches.  St Georges then had no changes until the  mid 19th century, when the Victorians performed their radical overhaul, in a similar fashion to St Andrew’s, Norton. As with St Andrew’s, the misericords almost certainly do not originate in St Georges, and again may come from Thetford Priory or Bury Abbey.

St George’s does not appear to have an official site, but you may like to look at Simon Knott’s page
