Nick Jones has kindly let me have some designs based on the misericords at several churches and cathedrals, these line drawings give an additional clarity, that is sometimes difficult when relief carvings are translated into 2 dimensional photos.

Following a career as an educationist and writer - Nick was English adviser for Devon and his specialism was language, he has turned his love of misericords and hand to drawing.  Nick will shortly be seen in a video featuring the misericords of Exeter Cathedral.

There is an exhibition of  Nick’s work, at Exeter Cathedral between 6th October and 5th November 2010.
