Hereford Judges

Information.

As the Judges were not forced to stand for long periods of time, these misericords are probably a conceit. It is worth noting, however, that the owl (in photos 1 and 2) was, in the middle ages, thought of not as a wise bird, but as something to be feared, meanwhile the photo 5.jpg, shows someone, possibly justice, with a sword in their right hand and the scales in the left.
